FAQ

Please take the time and look at some of the FAQ that Walnut Family Dentistry has put together to better help you out.

What happens on my first appointment?

You will meet with Dr. Stafford for your initial consultation before any X-rays are taken or instruments picked up. We want to learn more about your needs and wants before we begin assessing and suggesting treatment. Your first appointment will be between 60 to 75 minutes long. If same day treatment is desired, your appointment will be slightly longer.

How early should I bring my child to the dentist?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends your child to visit a dentist at or before age 1. Most children get their first tooth between 4-7 months of age and it’s the ideal time to bring your child to the dentist. Their first visit is an instrumental educational visit for parents and an introductory visit for the child.
